In cooperation with the Freie Evangelische Gemeinde (Free Evangelical Church) he and his wife Jorine have developed Haltepunkt E, which is trying to connect with people and create a greater sense of community instead of loneliness. Haltepunkt E organises a street café, football tournaments, mother and toddler groups, barbecue evenings and other activities.
